<바닷조개와 파도>

a seashell lay quietly on the beach, afraid of the waves.

조개가 해변에 조용히 누워 있었어요.

“don’t come near me!” it shouted.

그는 파도에게 소리쳤죠. “가까이 오지 마!”

but one wave gently touched it and carried it back to the sea.

하지만 한 줄기 파도가 살짝 다가와 그를 바다로 데려갔어요.

the shell whispered,

“oh… maybe the thing i feared was taking me home.”

조개껍데기가 속삭였다.

“아… 어쩌면 내가 두려워했던 것이 나를 집으로 데려다주는 것일지도 몰라.”
